It’s finally March, which means spring is just around the corner, soon there will be a week of cake, and it’s National Reading Month. Some ways to celebrate:
- Donate a book to your local library, school, or nonprofit
- Break out your favorite Dr. Seuss book for March 2, “Read Across America Day” and the author’s birthday
- Join a book club
- Volunteer to read or tutor others in reading
- Treat yourself to a book on your wishlist
And of course, read voraciously. My reading goal is to finish the three books on my bookshelf right now:

What will you be reading this month? What books do you recommend?
Great list of 3! I grew up on heaps of Amy Tan and tears. Hehe. Just read Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert and am on Between Stations by Kim Cheng Boey, can’t wait to start of Just Kids by Patti Smith which I just got in the mail from Amazon. Miss you and your book recommendations!
not to add to it, but have you read saving fish from drowning, by amy tan. or – the poisonwood bible by barbara kingsolver. they are the sort of things that smack you over the head with lines of brilliance.
